Born in January 1981, Neil began playing the guitar when he was 9 years old, noodling around on a 3/4 size steel string acoustic. By the age of 13 noodling had turned to obbsessive playing and by the time he left secondary school he could emulate his heros, the people who taught him to play, with frightening intensity. By the time he had finished studying music at sixth form college in his home town of Cambridge, UK, he had gained a reputation for his playing and was already in demand as a recording musician. Now, at 27 years old, Neil still enjoys that reputation and is in constant demand as both a session player and a teacher. Described as "the singer songerwriters favourite of Cambridge" and "guitar superhero" by BBC radios Sue Marchant, Neil is also a popular producer for up and coming artists. Known for his sense of musicalitly, groove, tone and his ability to explode into a solo that pins you against wall, nothing can quite prepare you for the depth and emotion of his playing.

Alongside writing and playing for some of the regions finest artists and constantly wowing audiences with his playing, Neil is also on the faculty of 6 schools and colleges and has written regular lessons for the UK's leading acoustic guitar magazine "Acoustic", alongside working with the UK guitar forum www.theguitargrounds.co.uk. Neil also writes for Sony Records.
